Influence of Limestone Fillers on the Properties of Concrete

I am a final year BSc. Civil Engineering student at the University of Cape Town. I chose this field of study because I have always been passionate about the built environment and chose this particular research as I find concrete technology very fascinating. 

 

The research was carried out under the supervision of Professor Mark Alexander, who has been very supportive throughout the project. This thesis has given me the opportunity to contribute to the sustainability of concrete and subsequently, help to address the big problem of CO2 emissions on global warming.
